Sarah moved to Virginia when she was twelve and except for a few years away at college she has lived on the same family farm in Ivy ever since. After a brief stint working for UVA she took the plunge, and built Mountain Meadows Creamery, a Grade A goat cheese dairy, marketing cheese and organic products. When a friend suggested making goat milk soap, it seemed like a good use for the extra milk ... and Dionis Goat Milk Soap was formed. Eventually the soap business proved more lucrative and less problematical than cheese, thus leading the way to Mountain Meadows Bath Products, which has been growing and developing for the last 25 years.

Sarah had grown up riding horses, but like many little girls eventually college and a career took over her time and energy. Some years later she has come full circle and horses and carriage driving are now a passion again. If you are on the road in Ivy early in the morning and happen to pass a pony and carriage, it is most likely Sarah and Shimmo or Jill ... "maintaining the ambiance of Ivy".

The sale of family property in Massachusetts enabled Sarah to begin investing in real estate, both investment and rental property. She found the experience so interesting and rewarding that she pursued her real estate license and now works full time to help others find their dream property.
