It's an amazing time to live in the Charlottesville area. Having lived here and loved it since 1982 I am truly amazed at the opportunities that present themselves each weekend. Firstly and most importantly to me, the countryside, so easily within reach and still truly unspoiled. An afternoon of trail riding in the Shenandoah National Park along the Upper Rapidan River in Madison County last weekend could be followed by a fabulous dinner on the Downtown Mall where we recently enjoyed a Bonnie Raitt concert. Tommorow evening will be Cyranao De Bergerac at the Black Friars theater in Staunton. Such a diversity of things to do and such a spectacular place to just stay home and enjoy a fabulous lifestyle in one of the prettiest parts of America.
This is surely one of the best markets we've had for buyers in the last six years. Inventory has risen and prices have softened to a level where good values are obvious.
